OSI Acquires Skills in Geographic Mapping of Environmental Measurements
January 13, 2014
OSI’s staff of trained health physicists, industrial hygienists, GIS analysts and environmental surveyors are capable of monitoring and plotting land data for important environmental conditions such as:
- radioactivity (depleted uranium),
- noise mapping,
- air quality (CO2, VOCs, etc.),
- sensitive receptor surveys for environmental impact statements - biota and fauna locations
- verification of environmental clean-up projects.
OSI now has the capability to use this technology with any instrument and detector such as an air monitor, noise monitor, distance measuring tool, moisture and density meter, etc. We can also locate and plot the presence of animal nesting areas or plant locations.
